
Adit Ahuja, Joint President of HR, UltraTech Cement
Mumbai, February 15, 2025: UltraTech Cement has named Adit Ahuja as its Joint President of Human Resources. In this role, he will be responsible for HR for several key areas, including cement marketing, sales, logistics, commercial operations, and the company’s Ready-Mix Concrete and Building Products divisions.
Adit will be responsible for leading HR strategy, talent development, and operations across multiple business segments. His role includes, aligning HR initiatives with UltraTech’s overall business objectives, ensuring effective workforce management, and driving employee engagement. A seasoned HR professional, Ahuja brings over 20 years of experience to UltraTech.
Ahuja’s background includes leadership roles at prominent companies. Before joining UltraTech, he led HR for Ethnic Brands at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, where he oversaw HR policies for major fashion brands. He has also held significant HR leadership positions at Tata Consumer Products and the Tata Group, contributing to talent acquisition, performance management, and HR transformation. His expertise spans HR strategy, organizational development, and rewards management.
At UltraTech, Ahuja will focus on optimizing workforce efficiency and improving talent retention, particularly crucial in the competitive cement and building materials market. His appointment reflects UltraTech’s dedication to strengthening its HR policies to meet evolving market demands.
