Bengaluru, July 23, 2026: Infosys has announced the appointment of Ashiss Kumar Dash as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Designate, effective April 1, 2027, marking a significant leadership transition at India’s second-largest IT services company. Dash will succeed Salil Parekh, who will complete his second term as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at the end of March 2027 after more than nine years of leadership. The appointment has been approved by the Board for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. This was reported by CNBC TV 18.
A seasoned Infosys veteran with more than three decades at the company, Ashiss Kumar Dash currently serves as Executive Vice President and Global Head of the Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy and Sustainability business. In his current role, he oversees a broad portfolio of industry verticals, helping global enterprises accelerate digital transformation, AI adoption, cloud modernization, and sustainability initiatives.
Over the course of his career, Dash has held several strategic leadership positions across consulting, delivery, sales, and business transformation. He has been instrumental in driving growth across key industry segments while strengthening client relationships with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations. His extensive experience in technology-led business transformation and deep understanding of Infosys’ global operations position him to lead the company through its next phase of growth amid accelerating AI-driven disruption.
