Mumbai, September 10, 2024: ManipalCigna Health Insurance, a joint venture between Manipal Group and Cigna Healthcare, has appointed Richa Chatterjee its new chief human resources officer, effective September 2, 2024.
Richa Chatterjee, who comes with over two decades of experience, will be responsible for overseeing the company’s HR strategies, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Her responsibilities will include driving ManipalCigna’s people agenda, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusivity, and aligning HR practices to drive organisational growth.
Speaking on the occasion Prasun Sikdar, Managing Director and CEO, ManipalCigna Health Insurance, said “I am confident Richa’s expertise will enable us to lead our DEI efforts, attract and retain the talent necessary and continue to deliver on our company’s purpose and growth strategy.

Prior to joining, ManipalCigna, Chatterjee held the role of CHRO and President at Indian Infoline Group. Earlier in her career, she has worked in various capacities within the HR domain across oganisations including The Boston Consulting Group (India) and Tata Motors.
